Decent sauvignon blanc, especially for the price. Nice citrus flavors, green apple but not the over the top grapefruit. Decent balance and nice acidity. Good summer time deck wine.

Grass and a touch of melon on the nose, grass and lemon on the palate, medium body and acidity, medium finish. Not much fruit at all. A standard Sauvignon Blanc, not bad but not great, either. I'm not a big S. Blanc fan, by the way.

A classic white wine, crisp, dry, pale and brilliant. Made with fruit from their favorite Sonoma County vineyards, and blended with just 9% Segrave;millon for a round, spicy note in the mouth and finish. Only 14% of the wine was barrel fermented this time, to preserve the purity of the rich fruit flavors. All the wine was aged in older French oak and stirred on its lees to promote the silky texture that feels so good in your mouth. Taste the layers of citrus, melon and pear, and outstanding fruit and acid balance.

Lemony fresh on the nose. Then it fans out to reveal hints of gooseberry, melon, grapefruit and mineral tones. Quite delicate and lovely.

Steve Reeder blends this Sauvignon with five percent Semillon, adding a hint of wheat-like savor to the fruit. It's fresh and bright, packed with lime,m lemongrass and peach flavors that show off its blend of warm- and cool-climate fruit. A versatile, mouthwatering white to serve with white sausages, whether seafood, chicken or veal.

Winemaker's Notes:

"This brilliantly clear, pale-straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc leads with fresh and appealing aromas of Meyer lemon, lime zest, stone fruit, grapefruit, and lifted mineral notes followed by a lively palate which reprises the lemon and lime themes of the nose. This refreshing and brightly acidic wine at first appears delicate but then reveals nuance after nuance, finishing with a long, lingering impression of citrus and mineral notes. To keep these vibrant aromas and flavors true, clean, and fresh, we are introducing a Stelvin screw cap closure with this vintage. This wine will bring out the best in salmon, goat cheese and leek pizza, green grape gazpacho, grilled tiger prawn Caesar salad, or a scallop pasta with an orange or Meyer lemon cream." -Winery
