From a venerable producer, a fine Merlot. It's soft and gentle in tannins and acids, but that doesn't detract from complex interest. The flavors veer toward black cherries, with a chocolatey edge. Perfect with a T-bone steak. -Wine Enthusiast Simi blends the best of tradition and innovation in all our fine wines. From the Alexander Valley, come the grapes for this smooth, rich Merlot. It is packed with plum and black cherry flavors with exotic spiceand vanilla oak elements. This wine was barrel fermented, and matured in French and American oak barrels. Alcohol: 13.5%

Excellent wine....very nice and mild with most any foods. No bitter after taste. Lovely wine!
