[turkey chili] Certainly not comparable to the RR Res. Pleasant but lacks complexity, with blunted nose and ripe pear and toast on the palate.

Simi Russian River Reserve Chardonnay A rich, smooth, elegant style, with creamy oak wrappedin an intense, tasty core of earthy pear, spice,citrus, and a touch of honey. Gains complexity and depth on a long, lingering finish.

Our classic Chardonnay comes from Sonoma Countys finest vineyards, including our own Goldfields estate in the Russian River Valley. Partially barrel fermented, all barrel aged in French oak, its a perfect balance of textures and flavors. Secondary malolactic fermentation and a regime of stirring the lees in barrel gives the wine a rich creamy, silky texture. Its fruit flavors are vibrant with notes of citrus, spice and vanilla.
