Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

User Reviews for Silvestri Vineyards Rose Table Wine Carmel Valley Estate

Winemaker's Notes:

A dry rosé made from Pinot Noir that focuses on the fruit. Harvested from our Block 1 vineyard this Pinot Noir was lightly pressed to extract the juice and just a hint of color from the skins into stainless steel tanks. It was then racked to barrel for primary fermentation (sugar to alcohol) without going through malo-lactic fermentation. It was then aged in neutral French oak for 7 months.

Tasting Notes:

A Pinot Noir Rosè with cherries, strawberries, watermelon and (believe it or not) a hint of grape show off aromatically. This is a full bodied, dry and rich Rosé. A perfect accompaniment to holiday fare. For full perfection just add people, a cozy fire and conviviality.
