RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
Editorial Reviews for Silverado Vineyards Chardonnay North Coast
A nice fresh nose that delivers plenty of apple, citrus and floral notes in a slightly sweet vein. Nicely medium bodied in the mouth, this combines fresh acids with a bit of viscosity, yielding a light yet silky mouthfeel. The flavors are in the orange cream and apple end of the spectrum, with refreshing acids on the moderately long, yet simple finish that ends on pear fruit and hard mineral tones. This is a nicely styled crowd pleaser style of winemaking, it’s pretty fruity yet with bags of acid making it best suited for drinking on it’s own, or with some simple grilled fish. 87pts

Pale yellow color. Abundant fruit aromas of sweet yellow apple, honeydew melon and ripe citrus. Floral notes highlight the nose while aromas of vanilla and oak stay in the background. On the palate, light and refreshing, sprightly! Lingering flavors on the finish tempt you back for another sip.
Bright clear yellow color. Ripe yellow apple, pear, citrus and mineral aromas. Medium body, silky texture with citrus zest on finish.
A Chardonnay wine from California in USA. 2007 Silverado Vineyards Chardonnay 750ml
Leesy scents of grape skins in the initial aromas and finish lend their juiciness to the maple syrup flavors of oak. Malty and long, for grilled port.
The 2007 Chardonnay has copious lime and lemon oil as well as some orange blossom and honeysuckle notes. The wine has a greenish hue to its color, and shows little evidence of any noticeable oak other than some subtle spice. It has zesty acidity, medium to full body, and a long, pure finish. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. This is a strong group of wines from Silverado, and certainly a great deal of credit must go to winemaker Jonathan Emmerich.
Tart and lean, with citrus flavors just nudging into green apples. Oak adds richness and viscosity; most of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation, but it's still an angular Chardonnay with a lemony finish.
Intense, spicy and lively; a vibrant wine, with focused pineapple, lemon and nutmeg aromas and flavors and a tight, concentrated finish. Best from 1994 or '95.
