RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
Great fruit, bold and excellent finish!!! I have and would buy this again and again......At 14.99 per bottle (which is what I purchased it for), this is an excellent wine for the value. If you close your eyes and someone told you it was a 35.00 bottle, you would believe it. Being a big wine type of drinker, this does not dissapoint. Great for company or an everyday wine. It is a blend that has found a way to keep it's consistency. Some of the blended wines do not really keep the consistency factor in place, however this was one has across at least 5 occasions and separte case lots. In summary and flavor...Silver Palm is a poor man's Silver Oak....go and drink up!!!
The first sniff left no doubt that this was a big, bold and robust cab. In the nose and on the pallet, plum peels, blackberry, black currant, cigar box and hints of tar and vanilla. This is a full bodied wine with vigorous tannins, bright acidity, lots of oak and lots of fruit and a lusciously long peppery finish.
Bought my second. Excellent value, agree with "wine o New York".
This wine is very good, smooth as silk, nice bouquet and finish. Really like this one.
