Add your reviewFirst came across Silver Oak completly by accident driving through Napa Valley and happened upon their release day in 1994. Crowds were still small, went baack two years later and in was a zoo. Love their earlier offerings lately they seem to be falling off.....
Wonderful wine. We drank from a magnum and it was intense and flavorful from start to finish. A long balanced finish. Delicious.

The 1992 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a dark, ruby-red color and a classic nose of cassis, cigar box, chocolate, roasting coffee and cinnamon. This wine has a very full body, harmonious with echoes of cassis in flavor, which beautifully balances a long, slightly tannic finish. This lovely example of Alexander Valley Cabernet is drinking beautifully now and will continue to improve through 2015 given proper cellar conditions.
