Signorello Pinot Noir Carneros 2008

External Review:

Rating: 88/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the October 2010 issue. Light-medium in volume and focused on red cherries with distinct hints of dried flowers and dried brush, this wine is fairly fleshy on the palate to start, then drifts into a slightly chalky, acid-driven backend that detracts somewhat at present. Three or four years in the cellar will help smooth it out.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Further bottle aging can improve this wine.
