This is a pretty fat and tannic cab. Traditional flavors of anise, currant and plum predominate. Still a little green around the edges but I think that's about as good as we can hope for. Opened it December 2009 and I don't think more time in the bottle will help much.

The complex nose offers an enticing blend of vanilla, black cherry and currant aromas. Hints of cedar and tobacco combine with the layers of fruit to form a rich but perfectly balanced wine. The finish displays an intense purity of fruit and soft velvety tannins. Drinkability and Maturity: 2000-2011
