The 2010 Beaujolais Nouveau is HERE! 15-11-2010 Signé Vigneron was established by Olivier Ravier in 1997 in order to produce and promote the wines of the Beaujolais with good typicity from their respective areas.. Le Chat Rouge is an easy drinking wine which is why, after a few glasses, you'll be able to pick out cats on the roofs and even hear them miaow... Vintage: 2010 Grapes: 100% Gamay Vinification: Sourced from the best areas of Theize in the heart of Beaujolais. The soil consists of big stones which are good for drainage. Serve: Slightly chilled at 10-12C with ham, grilled meat and fish. Taste: Pale purple, with a floral bouquet. Ripe red fruits on the palate, medium to light bodied with a refreshing finish.

The most mineral-driven of the Beaujolais Crus, Moulin-andagrave;-Vent is capable of producing some of the most serious, long-lived reds from the region. The Domaine de la Passion is focused, with light to medium body and tons of bold red fruits to balance out the stony undertones. A terrific table red, this wine is excellent with sausage, BLTs and risotto.
