Ruby red color. Very fruity nose with small mineral hints. The mouth is full and very fruity, with subtle notes of spices. Ideal with all red meats.
Red cherry and raspberry notes mix with a darker hint of blackberry and spice in this balanced red. There’s tangy acidity and a firm finish. Drink now through 2013.
Delicate aromas of cocoa, peppery spice, sour cherries, and cranberries follow through on a supple entry to a dryish light-to-medium body with good depth and a tart, pencil shaving accented finish. Very true to style and appellation; pair with mushroom tart or veal chops.
The most mineral-driven of the Beaujolais Crus Moulin-à-Vent is capable of producing some of the most serious long-lived reds from the region. The Domaine de la Passion is focused with light to medium body and tons of bold red fruits to balance out the stony undertones. A terrific table red this wine is excellent with sausage BLTs and risotto.
