What to Expect

Vernaccia is one of Tuscany's great grapes. It produces a medium-bodied yet bright white wine that offers well-integrated citrus and orchard fruits with notes of dried herbs, roasted nuts and salty minerals adding complexity.

Reviews

Rating: 90.5/100 - As reviewed by The Wine Messenger Refreshing; Bone Dry; Long Finish

Pale straw yellow color. The bouquet is delicate with aromas of almond and dried flowers. This wine is bone dry on the palate and is light bodied. Refreshing acidity leads to long finish. A wine to be served as an aperitif or with a wide variety of dishes, especially seafood, mixed salads, vegetarian dishes or chicken.

Rating: 90.5/100 - As reviewed by The Wine Messenger Bone Dry; Refreshing; Tasty

Bright and pale yellow color. Nose of cut grass and wild flowers. Medium to light bodied, sharp with good grip, mineral and quite dry. Long savory finish of silex and spices. Most suitable with food (fish in particular). Can be cellared for a couple of years but tastes best when young. Serve chilled.
