Because we all need to keep our Day Job... If you have ever worked in the corporate world, you know that it is hard to be an entrepreneur if it doesn't fit the company line. This experience inspired Jeff Lubin (our founder) to create a small wine company called SideJob Cellars. At the time of this epiphany, he was the Marketing Director for Ravenswood Winery so naturally, he decided to produce high quality, value wines from Sonoma County. To insure his commitment to this project, he traded in his car keys for wine keys and sold his pride and joy, a 1999 C5 Corvette coupe and used the proceeds to start his company (on the side of course). It was a huge sacrifice, but you will see it was well worth it. Using our premier wine C5 Dry Creek Zinfandel (a tribute to the car that started it all) as the foundation for this new boutique wine company we are committed to the entrepreneur in all of us and will continue to add to our selection of wines and other unique products as we grow. A lot of Cab for $20! I picked up a bottle at Bristol Farms last week and had it for dinner last night. Was very impressed by the elegance and intensity of this cab. It was rich and smooth with hints of toasted french oak and went very well with our chicken dish. I would highly recommend this wine! In fact, I'm going to go out and buy some more!
