Merlot has gotten a bad rap as of late but there is no denying the wine's appeal. Packed with deep, dark berry fruit and nuanced hints of cocoa, herb and earth with a soft structure. For someone like me (with little money or wine experience), then this is an excellent wine. If your status is somewhere above "Bumpkin" level, then you may disagree. Feel free to take your monocle elsewhere.

When I need something on the sweeter side, but not too sweet, I really like this one. Berries up front but with a soft tangy finish. Easy to drink for my palate and easy on the pocket book!
