Decanted 30 min before first taste. Nose is kinda funky...smells like dirt and soap. Earthy. Tastes young, even after more time in the decanter. Somewhat bitter, but cherry fruit is coming though strong. Finish is rather short, slightly bitter/acidic, with some alcohol heat. May improve with more time, but not age-worthy at all. Good - 84 points.

Cherry and vanilla on the nose. The wine is certainly cheap and cheerful - tastes rather manufactured. Its light, sugary sweet and fairly plain, lacking in typical cabernet backbone. Fairly drinkable though. Finishes on sour cherries.
