Dark red. Bright aromas of blackberry, cherry and licorice, with hints of fennel and black pepper. Firm and juicy, with dried cherry and plum flavors and a strong bitter pepper note. Quite syrah in character and structure.

This is an excellent value from Shoofly. The fruit-driven 2004 Shiraz reveals a deep ruby/purple color, medium to full body, abundant amounts of blackberry and cassis fruit, and hints of licorice, spice, and earth. Enjoy this attractive red over the next few years.
Fresh and distinctive for its wild berry and herb flavors. Not typical of Shiraz, but appealing.
Bright purple. Dark berries, woodsmoke and cracked pepper on the nose and palate. Very syrah in character. Chewy, focused and gently sweet, with good finishing power and lingering smokiness.
