What to Expect

Syrah: One of the few grapes to really be a global success. Syrah combines a meaty core of ripe berry fruit with tones that range from herbal to peppery in a package that tends to be medium bodied with good acidity and softer tannins. With age the wines can gain lovely leathery and black olive notes that make them a great match for savory and gamy dishes.

Really coppery colored. Light aromatics are faintly smoky and meaty with some nuanced floral hints supporting notes of raspberry and cherry with a suggestion of tropical, orange toned fruits. The nice mouth filling, yet soft texture is very attractive and supports gentle notes of herbal tinged baked orange and cranberry. Soft and delicate so pair this with something simple and light. I’m think quiche Lorraine! 85pts

Very light strawberry and maple syrup nose. Palate is rustic, raw and hot. The fruit is masked by a bitterness.

Burnt orange hue, with a rustic earthy nose with hints of strawberries and orange blossom. Dry with a meaty undercurrent of licorice. A powerful rose with great body. Tart licorice finish
