2001 Vintage The wine was 100% barrel fermented and matured in new American oak for over 12 months. This wine has a beautiful nose and an aroma that will leap out of the glass and remind you of violets and plums. Its palate is rich and intense yet smooth, with an incredible depth of fruit. You can experience many layers of fruit sensations including chocolate, licorice, vanilla, spice and blackcurrants. The wine finishes in the mouth, silky soft with long lingering fruit. It is drinking well now and will cellar for many years.
