Reviews for 2009 Vintage
Earthy nose with cherry highlights. Strawberry flavors with clean fruit flavors. Sharp mineral finish on raspberries. Refreshing.
Fruit punch nose, very peachy and tropical. The mouth is dry, where pear and mango come out a bit more, and somewhat metallic. Very light overall.
Refreshing, but a little tart. For some reason it reminded me of kielbasa . . .
Deep salmon, light bodied, mouthwateringly crisp. Golden raisin, carrot skin, dust. Kind of earthy and berry on the back. I'm thinking ratatouille and summer wild salmon.
Has an elegant aroma reminiscent of a ripe strawberry. This rose hold's it's own
Cherries on the nose with a soft layer of raspberry. Clean and mineral in the mouth with a nice tart raspberry finish. A nice example of what NY can do with a Rose.
this time I tasted right after the mulderbosch rose and did not enjoy it the same way. aromatics are of strawberry fruit with a minerality, slightly herbal. a little citrus like on the palate, acid more prevelant, sharper finish
Nice fragrant wine, very right with lots of floral notes on the nose. It's got a refreshing strawberry finish, with a hint of fresh-cut grass.
aromas complete with raspberries, peaches, sweet tea and roses. Nice acidity very light and fragrant
This dry rose evokes floral aromas with flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and watermelon. Squeaky clean and vibrant it is expressive and tantalizing. Take a bottle of this wine in one hand, a lobster roll in the other, and head straight to the beach!
