Shingleback Black Bubbles Sparkling Shiraz Shingleback NV
Picked this up on a whim at a local World Market store, because how often do you really get to try a sparkling red wine? Really nice dark fruit notes. Tried chilled like champagne at first, but the flavors really benefited from warming up just slightly. Definitely a unique wine, this one was fun to drink and quite enjoyable.Add winemaker's notes
The McLaren Vale region is located 45 minutes south of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. The area is bound to the south by the Sellick's Hill range, extends east to Clarendon, reaches to the north just beyond Reynella and is bordered on the west by the waters of the Gulf St. Vincent. First planted with vines in the 1830's, McLaren Vale is best known today for its internationally acclaimed rich, flavourful Shiraz.

Surprisingly enjoyable! Not too sweet, like a good red with bubbles. Love it! Will surely purchase again!
Very nice change for lovers of bubbles.
Just picked this bottle up after a tasting. Very pleasant sparkling red...a very unique wine that we had to get. We had it slightly chilled. A side note - the bubbles continue for a very long time. The bottle we tasted from was open for 2 hours and the bubbles were still equally as strong as when u open the bottle up Enjoy.
For Merlot and Shiraz enthusiasts this is a remarkable, reasonably priced sparkling alternative. Be careful not to over-chill. Very nice finish. I always have a couple of bottles on standby for special occasions.
