Rich dark berry aroma (and I get a bit of ham in there as well, for some strange reason - I guess it's time for dinner!). Chocolatey, creamy mouth feel. Not too sweet, with nice tannins in the back.

Full and rich in the nose, smooth and full of raspberries and cherries. Palate is quite big and bordering on sweet, with licorice, cherry cola, round smooth tannins, leather and a cocoa finish.

Thick nose of red and black fruits. Very concentrated palate with rich mouthfeel. Thick is the descriptor for this wine all around, but it's not overly dense or overpowering. Nice floral berry tones with nice integrated tannin. Long lasting and powerful. The only flaw for me, is the heavy tannin on the finish. That should dissipate with time. - Tasted at Khoury's 6/2/10

93 Points - The Wine Advocate"The dense ruby/purple-tinged 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon One Point Five (includes 1% Petit Verdot, 10,000 cases produced) offers up juicy red and black fruit notes intermixed with licorice, coffee beans, and camphor as well as an impressive, full-bodied texture, good elegance, and floral undertones. With a savory, broad texture, this beauty can be drunk now or cellared for 15-20 years. This family-owned winery routinely fashions exceptional wines from their Stags Leap vineyards. Moreover, they have long been the reference point for what can be achieved in Stags Leap. My highest compliments to this great winery. "

Aromas of warm black fruit, cedar, chocolate, and dried herbs, followed by rich, juicy flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate, and tobacco, with a nice long finish. The tannins are ripe and supple.

With a savory, broad texture, this beauty can be drunk now or cellared for 15-20 years. Bright ruby-red. Fresh aromas and flavors of black raspberry, dark cherry, leather and sexy oak spices, with a hint of dill. Supple, suave and sweet, with ripe acids energizing the mid-palate of this chewy wine. The leathery hint carries through to the finish, which features firm, dusty tannins and lingering sweet fruit. Intense and rustic, raw and concentrated, with chewy dried currant, wild berry, anise, sage and mineral, offering all the ingredients of flavor and structure, but in need of time. Best from 2011 through 2017. 9,400 cases made. -JL ** Only 10 in Stock **
