Winemaker's Notes:

Deep Purple. This second vintage continues an evolution of intensity. The Syrah offers even more black pepper and spice flavors while the Petite Sirah brings a balancing counterpoint of deep blueberry and blackberry. After another year of vine development, the resulting wine's tannins are less young and raw and much more refined and expansive. The rich color that hugs the inside of the glass is a combination of Syrah's deep purple and Petite Sirah's beautiful blue-tinged hue.
