Seven Sisters Bukettraube Odelia 2007
Most fantabulous off-dry white wine I've ever tasted. Truly memorable. Perfect wine for the beach! Also, I love that you can feel good about drinking wine from one of only TWO black-South African owned wineries in South Africa. Thanks to ISAW Foundation for introducting me to this wonderful wine, and their heart-warming story.Add winemaker's notes
Seven Sisters is a wine brand based in Paternoster, South Africa. It’s named for the seven Brutus sisters who founded the label in 2007. The fruit for the wines is grown in the West Coast and in Stellenbosch, South Africa. They consist of a reds, whites and a rosé, each representing a single varietal and named for one of the sisters.

Seven Sisters 'Odelia' Bukettraube is absolutely wonderful. It's a light, off-dry white wine, with notes of melon and lychee. This varietal is also hard to find. Bouquettraube - originally from Germany, but now grown in South Africa. We've been looking, but have not yet tasted a German wine of this varietal. In any case, Odelia is fantabulous, we love it! for information on how you can help South African black-owned wineries (there is only 1 at this time), please see these links: www.isawfoundation.org www.toastafrica.com
Delicious sweet wine with floral aromas. Perfect with spicy food and sushi!
Write your review here, and rate the wine from 1 to 5 glasses above. The wine was perfect! Not too sweet, not too tart. Just right. Goes well with Salmon
I really enjoyed this wine but am having difficulty finding a place to purchase some.
