- In Australia the Syrah grape variety is known as Shiraz and can produce rich wines with intense fruit. This wine was made from select lots of Syrah grapes grown in Paso Robles that were aged in small oak barrels for 12 months. The wine shows some of the same ripeness and spice characteristics as classic Shiraz from Australia. Deep red in color with layers of berry mouth-filling flavors, the wine is enjoyable to drink now.
