What to Expect

Riesling is a chameleon of a grape, able to produce world class wines that range from bone dry to unctuously sweet. Germany is most closely associated with Riesling, where all styles are made and the range of flavors runs the gamut from steely and crisp with crunchy mineral-driven flavors to fresh lime, apple and peach flavored expressions - even rich honied, candied fruit tones in the great dessert wines.

Reviews

Brilliant, light straw color. Graceful, balanced Riesling with moderate alcohol. Fermented at cool temperatures to maximize aromas and flavors. Shows abundant ripe apple, citrus and floral notes, with undercurrents of natural vanillin and mineral. Follows Seven Hills' traditional style of a light sweetness with a clean, crisp finish. While it can be held for up to 2 years to gain bottle character, this is a white wine made to be enjoyed young.

Riesling, Oregon was deemed Wine of the Week ( by Wine Press Northwest Magazine. "This Riesling from Oregon grapes, has a nice balance of fruit and acids with just the right amount of sweetness at 1.8% residual sugar. Honeysuckle aromas are followed by the flavors of a crisp, sweet Gala apple."

Tasty wine for the price. This is no complex wine but it's great to sip outside on a hot day.
