Seven Hills Ciel du Cheval Red Mountain 2003

External Review by Astor Wines & Spirits:

This vintage is a blend of roughly equal parts of the Cabernets and Merlot. Just as in Bordeaux, the composition of the blend changes as per how one grape performs over another. The nose is intense with cassis, plums, blueberries and spice. Excellent fresh fruit and approachable tannins. From the famed "Ciel du Cheval" vineyard.
