Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2000
Oak, Vanilla. Silky tannins, with smooth, mild finish. Flavors of vanilla, blackberry, cherry. We had this wine with pork in mole sauce. Got it on sale at Drink for $35. It was good but not overly impressive.Add winemaker's notes
There’s most definitely something special about life in the Grove. Is it the towering Sequoia trees that define the estate and inspired the name? Is it the atmosphere of unassuming sophistication? Is it our unique combination of award-winning wines (led by our signature Cabernet) created with an artisan spirit? It’s all of the above—and more. And it’s right here, waiting to be discovered.

Very striking. Very versatile. Excellent, be it barbecue or Beef Bourguignon. Herbal, mildly smokey and rich; medium tannins with a super solid finish. Makes a great gift for a housewarming: sophisticated, but not too serious.
