Septima Syrah Tempranillo 2005

Member Review by tblain1:

Suprisingly delicious for the price. Nose of plum and blackberries. Dried cranberries on the palatte, and tannins that are not overpowering. A good medium body that you can't beat for the price; the type of wine I'd like to have for an every-day-drinker.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
