Add your reviewLight and simple with a light body and short finish. I think i get the minerality described in the finish. Not a lot of aromatics or fruit on nose or palate. A little pricey for 20$ given that. Decent and would buy again i guess, but i liked the other GV i tasted tonight.
Terroir, or the sense that a good wine tastes like the place it was grown, expresses itself in the form of earthy, mineral qualities rather than fruits or tannins—like the difference between good water and bad water. In this case, the mineral taste is so much stronger than all the other flavors, it's difficult to tell whether SEPP is a sophisticated or just a little off.
Winemaker's Notes:
Winnaar nationale huiswijncompetitie Waar andere topproducenten alleen maar dure wijnen maken, overtuigt ook de “instapwijn” Sepp met een hoge kwaliteit. De wijn is zelfs zo goed dat deze de finale heeft gewonnen van de Nationale Huiswijncompetitie in de categorie Hotel, Banqueting & Catering. Niki Moser bewijst dat een goede grüner veltliner ook zeer betaalbaar kan zijn en inmiddels is deze frisse, sappige witte wijn de huiswijn van talloze restaurants in Oostenrijk. Naast culinaire inzetbaarheid ook een originele en lekkere aperitiefwijn.
