Senorio de Barahonda "Carro" Tinto 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

"The 2012 Carro Tinto is terrific bargain in high-quality red wine from Spain, no doubt because it comes from the relatively remote and under-the-radar appellation of Yecla. A blend of 50% Monastrell (Mourvedre), 30% Syrah, 12% Merlot and 8% Tempranillo, it possesses spice and earthy, new saddle leather notes intermixed with notions of cherry jam, truffles and loamy soil. Ripe, full-bodied, rich and generously endowed with no hard edges." - Wine Advocate
