Sella & Mosca Vermentino Vermentino di Sardegna la Cala 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Tasting Notes 100% Vermentino. After harvest, selected grape bunches are exposed to the warm autumnal sunlight and undergo a brief, natural drying process. Following a gentle pressing, the juices are vinified under temperature-controlled conditions. Elegant and supple, this single-vineyard wine couples fullness of flavor with an underlying acidity.

Sella & Mosca, founded in 1899 by Piedmontese Emilio Sella and Edgardo Mosca, is Sardinia's top winery. This Vermentino is made at its huge estate in the island's north. Delicate and floral, enjoy this as an apéritif or with light fare.
