Segura Viudas Brut Reserva, created from a blend of reserve and non-vintage wines, is clean and delicate, yet rich in flavor. A cuvée of Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel-lo grapes grown in the renowned Alt Penedès region of Spain, the wine is vinified according to méthode champenoise technique and is aged in the bottle for up to three years.
Over the years, Segura Viudas has earned a reputation as one of the top producers of sparkling wine, or cava. The winery has been noted for its high production standards, its labor-intensive approach to winemaking, and its penchant for releasing some of Europe's finest artisan sparkling wines. Segura Viudas has earned many honors over the past five decades, including being named “Winery of the Year” by Wine & Spirits magazine.

White fruits and candied apple aromas turn a little dusty with airing. The palate is crisp and standard, with no issues and juicy flavors of lightly sweetened apple, nectarine and citrus. Clean on the finish.

Hay aromas mix with gritty vitamin notes. while the palate shows white peach and apple flavors. Soft, but itandrsquo;s easy and familiar.
Unexpectedly complex, this first hints at smoke, cocoa and dry spices, and that layering rolls into the taste as well. Forward, ripe apple fruitiness rises above a dry hint of apple skin, wrapping up in a citrus and mineral grip. Stylistically itandrsquo;s graceful and austere, perfect for simple grilled shellfish of any kind.
andldquo;Almost Champagneandrdquo; in flavor and texture, this bright, zingy Cava offers herb, lime and banana aromas, plus citrus and yeast notes in the mouth. Falls off a tad at the end, but still a great value.
