Editorial Reviews for Segura Viudas Brut Reserva Heredad Cava
Sweet and slightly candied smelling with notes of lime, pineapple and watermelon on the nose. Hinting at sweetness on entry as well with flavors that mimic the nose. A rather fine mousse and creamy texture which makes this broadly appealing. The finish is a bit short, though it is nicely dry and shows a bit of yeasty character. 83pts

Fantastic...added to the enjoyment/celebration of my daughter's, Lauren, first visit home in 13 month's. Along with my 16 month old granddaughter.
As well as the first review here, this was my wifes' and my first Cava. I found this to have strong dry mineral and citrus/lime infusion. I loved the amount of carbonation and even enjoyed one more glass full the next day, with only slightly less bubbly goodness. I had this on its' own, but think this would be excellent with some seafood pasta dish or with Asian cuisine. The finish is long and dry, gearing up the palate for more! The acid noted makes me give the opinion that this could be enjoyed a year or two after purchasing to allow further mellowing to occur. A great sparkler and something I will keep in mind for future sparkling wine needs!
This was the first Cava that we had tasted, and it was fantastic. It had a very strong mineral taste, and it had floral tones and hints of lime, mango, and pear. Very youthful and smooth, and is in limited production. Comes in a very artistic bottle that can be used as a tasteful decoration after the wine has been enjoyed. Would highly recommend.
The prime feature of Brut Reserva Segura Viudas is its elegant and persistent mousse. The aromas are of white fruits, citrus and tropical fruits, and light floral notes. The palate is exquisite, complex and full of flavour, with good acidity and notes of lime and pineapple. It is dry and long on the finish. Gabriel Suberviola, Winemaker
