Nice deep, clear red color. Light on the nose. Very smooth on the palate. No tannin or alcohol hints in early-to-mid palate. Typical zinfandel blackberry fruit. Not particularly complex, but very easy to drink. Somewhat disappointing "hot" finish, but it diminishes quickly. Went well with grilled tri-tip sandwiches, last night. US$28.99 in 2008
