A little hard to find, the Seghesio Fiano is worth seeking out. It has some serious weight, with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Gorgeous fruit throughout. Almost becomes sweet in the finish

Winemaker's Notes:

Fiano, revered by the ancient Romans, was called “apiano” for its allure to bees (“apis” in Latin) as harvest approached. Our fascination began when a friend offered it at a blind tasting. Soon, we became Sonoma’s first growers of this intriguing grape. With origins from the marine-influenced southern Italian town of Avellino, Fiano excels on our family’s similarly cool Russian River Valley ranch.

Tasting Notes:

* Perfumed bouquet of honeysuckle, floral undertones and lime zest * Delicate flavors of pear skins and spice on the finish * Soft entry with refreshing mid-palate acidity * A rare find!
