Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

User Reviews for Seghesio Family Vineyards Barbera Alexander Valley

Winemaker's Notes:

A harmonious wine from the seductive deep purple hue through to the refreshing acidity on the finish. The nose exhibits freshly opened cherry blossoms in spring, light and delicately lifted by oak-imparted vanilla aromas. The bright acidity highlights the entry and finish while neatly book- ending the soft tannins in the mid-palate. This refreshing wine could prepare you for your next bite of a rustic, creamy polenta or something more sophisticated like pasta with truffles and mush- rooms. One of the most versatile wines imaginable.
