Strawberry and vanilla on the nose, with a sweetness on the mouth accompanied by toasted oak, cinannamon, cloves, and good tannins to form the body. There's a candied quality to it.
loads of jammy qualities, blackberry aromas. the palate is filled with dark fruit and is spicy - red spices, cinnamon dark chocolate notes.
Menthol notes, with a rubber astringency on the nose. Some banana and a lot of diesel oil thrown in for good measure. Thick, rubbery mouth feel with a wine thats low in acidity - very soft and round. Bitter bay leaf flavors on the finish.
inky purple, full-bodied. sweet honey, plummy jam, banana aroma. med acidity, tannins, and finish. ok balance. seriously one of the better pintorage-based wines I have consumed.
Not too shabby. Easy on the nose with not too much tannin. Some rubber aroma, with a very light banana aftertaste ~ in for a second glass ;-)
