Our Sonoma Cask Cabernet Sauvignon is a dark red color with dusty and ripe blackberry qualities. The flavor displays powerful black cherry fruit framed by good acidity. This wine should age and improve given its high color extraction, fruit complexities and acidity levels. It finishes only moderately astringent and will complement full flavored foods in its youth. Try this wine now with braised or grilled beef, hearty cheeses, or a leg of lamb. If cellared for four to eight years in good conditions, it will mellow and develop woodsy and chocolatey complexities.

Under-rated. This company has under gone a vast change for the better since the family split up. Don continues to make cheap grocery store wine (smoking loon, screw cappa nappa, etc.) while the new ownership of Sebastiani has cut production and improved their wines vastly. I was impressed when I visited their vinyard. You won't be disappointed.
