Winemaker's Notes:

The 1999 J. Schramopens with aromas of glazed pineapple, orange marmalade and crisp green apples. Just-baked puff pastry and rich creamy notes are derived from barrel fermentation (38%) and yeast aging. This powerful sparkling wine showcases the bright citrus and tangy, tropical fruit of the Tognetti, Hyde and SchwarzeChardonnay vineyards along BayviewAvenue in southern Napa Carneros. The addition of 26% Pinot Noir lends subtle red fruit aromas and gives breadth to both the nose and palate. A creamy yet refreshing wine, the 1999 J. Schramhas a long, quenching, seamless finish. Alcohol 12.5% TA 0.99g/100ml pH 3.02 Residual Sugar 1.28% Bottle Size 750ml/1.5ml Production 3,940 6 pack cases
