Schramsberg Vineyards Champagne Blend California Brut Rosé 2009
A touch floral on the nose with a pure yeatiness/creaminess that recalls fresh brie. A touch sweet across the mid-palate but not overly so and the acid and mineral tones dry out the finish. An interesting and enjoyable Demi-sec. 88ptsAdd winemaker's notes

Powdery on the nose with an assertive floral element that suggests roses, and rich fruit tones that recall red currants and red grapefruit. In the mouth this is airy and a bit sweet, with notes of powdered sugar and vanilla framing the yellow cherry fruit. The sweetness helps drive the finish which remains fairly firm with supporting acids and finishes on notes of red apple skins. 89pts
Not bad for the money yummy fruit flavors just not amazing balance and bubbles don't hold up as long with a bit too much acidity but all in all a decent value.
A lightly yeasty nose leads to a demi sec sparkling wine thats softly sweet and full of delicate floral notes. There's a good mousse of fine bubbles and along with a nice biscuit character and some dried petal notes its rather nice.
Classic traditional method aromas. Dry to off-dry, just a bit of residual sugar, grapefruit and melon flavors. Ripe, pleasant acidity.
Lovely wine ... nice delicate nose with a yeast and biscuit and touch of honey. Slightly sweet, almost honey flavor over top of the biscuit and yeast. Very enjoyable.
Light salmon in color with aromas of red cherry and yeast. The pinot noir definitely comes out in the nose. Same acidity as the blanc de blanc with rose water and cherry in the taste.
Four and a half glasses

A terrific blush bubbly, rich and sophisticated in the mouth. The mousse is very fine and silky, and the flavors are just tremendous. Raspberries, strawberries, brioche, sweet vanilla and toast end in a long, opulent swirl of spices. This Pinot Noir ... Wine Enthusiast. From the first press of Pinot Noir grapes (the second is labeled Blanc de Noirs) in an elegant, refreshing style. Very opulent.
