Sleek and layered, featuring lemon custard and green apple aromas as well as supple citrus, Asian pear and cinnamon-almond flavors. Finishes with a fresh hint of sweetness. Drink now through 2013.
This exquisite sparkling wine has won many accolades year after year since its inception in 1965. One of my all-time favorites, the 2006 Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs has maintained the exceptional quality that it has been known for. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, it shows delicate flavors of ripe pear, pineapple and baked apples. Basically dry and crisp; a slight honeyed sweetness is evident upon the finish, combined with tantalizing pinpoint effervescence.
Incredibly good, so rich and complex yoursquo;d swear you were drinking vintage Champagne. Flavors of yeast, lees and baking bread dominate now, with underlying accents of sweet lime. This young, elegant wine will improve with extended cellaring.
Sleek and vibrant, with floral apple and lemon aromas and crisp, complex flavors of pear and yeasty cinnamon that linger toward the minerally finish. Drink now through 2015.
Made from 100% Chardonnay grown mostly in Napa and Sonoma counties, this charming bubbly is one of the best blanc de blancs on the market. Itandrsquo;s rich and honeyed and feels so good in the mouth, carrying flavors of oranges, sweet limes, Meyer lemons, vanilla and toasty bread. Drink over the next six years.
Made from 100% Chardonnay, this sparkler is just delicious, a versatile wine to have by itself, with savories, sushi or the most elegant meals. Crisp and balanced, it has rich flavors of pineapples, peach jam, brioche and vanilla, with a smoky edge.
This 100% Chardonnay is easily the best Schramsberg blanc de blancs to date. Itrsquo;s so rich and luxurious in subtle lime, peach and brioche flavors, and so refined in its beautiful silky mouthfeel, and so long in the finish, you canrsquo;t help but love it. Gorgeous now, and should hold and even improve for the next six to eight years.
The 2006 Blanc de Blancs delivers aromas of key lime, freshly cut green apple and honeydew melon, followed by just a hint of pineapple upside-down cake. Upon entry, the palate is layered with flavors of citrus, ripe Anjou pear, dried pineapple and baked apple pie. This Chardonnay sparkler finishes with lingering and balanced acidity.
