Add your reviewLemon biscuit aromas, Crisp refreshing nice citrus notes. Great start to an evening!
Nice biscuity value sparkler. Straw color. Faint aromas of toasted bread and lemon. Citrus, nutty, and toasty flavors. Fairly impressive complexity, given the price.
I found this to be very simple and enjoyable. Not biting but not overly sweet. Really enjoyed it - would buy again for $30 or less

Rating: 89/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the November 2010 issue. Its yeasty, somewhat toasty first aromas suggest a bit of extra age, but the underlying fruit is still on the direct side and speaks to youthfulness. Frothy bubbles and good balance carry the wine nicely across the palate, and it stays true to its champenized roots and lively fruit all the way to a bright, lingering finish.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Unlikely to improve with further aging.

Rating: 89/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the November 2010 issue. Keyed on clean and vibrant young fruit and lightly accented with yeast, this straightforward sparkler is full and frothy with plenty of up-front appeal. It is the kind of wine for light-hearted sipping, and it makes no claim to complexity, but it will be a welcome guest at alfresco lunches when the weather warms up.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. 'The Mirabelle rose with its delicate peach rose color has generous aromas of strawberries and ripe red berries, with undertones of orange and tropical fruits. Essence of freshly baked peach cobbler and banana creme pie are abundant. On first taste juicy red raspberry and strawberries burst out of the glass. The palate lingers with flavors of lemon tart with a raspberry drizzle. The Mirabelle Rose is lush on entry, with a driving acidity and long finish.'

93 Points - Wine Spectator"A ros with serious intentions, it has a delicate pink hue and floral aromas of strawberry and spicy yeast rolls. The flavors show good focus, offering raspberry, Gala apple, ginger and fig flavors. Drink now through 2012."Winemaker's notes:The Mirabelle Brut Ros is a specially crafted blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Schramsberg's select cool-climate vineyards in Carneros, Anderson Valley, and the Sonoma and Marin coastal areas of Northern California. Pinot Noir lots, including a few fermented with skin contact, provide brightness of berry fruit and body, while Chardonnay lots lend length and zest to the palate. Additional flavor depth and aromatic complexity results from the blending of base wine lots aged in barrels and tanks for one or more years. The finished Brut Ros exhibits fresh, elegant and toasty aromas that lead into lively and delicious fruit flavors on the palate.
