This sustainably grown gem from the Rheinhessen in Germany is made from Müller-Thurgau, a lesser known grape variety that tastes like a peachy, floral cross between Riesling, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris. Very pretty and dainty, with honeyed flavors of ripe apricot, white peach, and fragrant melon that come across lush and round in the mouth. While this wine has lovely ripe fruit, it is fully dry (not sweet) as indicated by the "trocken" designation listed on the label. An excellent everyday wine that majorly over-delivers on its price!
