Schloss Biebrich White Blend Sekt 2009
Insanely good QPR. Bright and floral, with tiny bit of apple aroma and an almost clear look. Lots of froth, but the bubbles themselves are small. Nothing harsh here, with warm pears and flowers in the palate. Just a hair off-dry. Perfect with Indian, Thai, appetizers, spontaneous toasting.Add winemaker's notes

Yeasty! Medium sweet, light acid, apples, pears, quaffer.
Yeasty crackers! Big blowers, medium fruit, creamy vanilla, light-medium sweetness. Good acidity. Great value. Bought a bottle.
I like this wine. Sparkling Red, effervescent, tasty not bitter. Just the right blend of fruitiness, yet almost dry. Best part, it is inexpensive and serves well. Small dinner party of 37 adults proved this point when they kept going back for this wine over all the others we had.
Four and a half glasses
A surprisingly delightful sparkling wine from Germany. Riesling-like mineral citrus qualities introduced my palate to this untried varietal. A gift from a family friend whom served at my Parent's 25th Wedding Anniversary party.
Effervescent, pear, and tangerine. Short, flat, dead end of a finish. Not bad for the price. I had higher hopes at first smell and taste but the finish was disappointing.
Food Pairings for Schloss Biebrich White Blend Sekt

A pale yellow sparkling wine with smooth, tiny bubbles and floral and apple aromas. It tastes a lot like a Riesling, with notes of apples, pears, flowers, and an exceptional grapey flavor, all of which combine for a slightly dry finish. Best paired with Indian, Thai, and Szechuan (read spicy) foods, or light appetizers.
