Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Quite effusively perfumed with lime, apple, and golden berry fruit edged with a musky, gingery spice tone and top notes of dried herb, sand and preserved lemons. In the mouth this is very crisp and fresh with nice balance. There seems to be alot of sugar here and white this is big for a Kabinett it remains airy, precise and transparent. At this point it is gently complex and as it warms it broadens in the mouth turning a touch looser on the palate. There is alot to like here. Drink 2010-2020 90pts

Very nice off dry wine - minerality and solid acidity balance the sugar well. Pretty standard but well made throughout. Paired well with spicy thai food - a nice wine.
