Three and a half glasses
Unfortunately, the first bottle out of twelve was corked so I had to open another one. A very deep red from central Italy, dark, spicy, tannic and never ending. Reminds a bit of Rosso di Conero. Excellent for meat, venison and cheeses.
nice wine. A little smokey, cherries and rasberries with a nice finish
-this reminds me of what I used to find in basic chianti's- a medium bodied wine with real structure- nose of plums and cherries - palate is slightly austere, but great with proscuitto- nice structure- could age for a year or two. nothing special, but a nice wine. served by a non-geek friend on NYE-
