Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Winemaker's Notes:

This vineyard (and wine) name. The Promise, in Italian, was chosen for the promise I made to my father to continue our family's winemaking traditions. This vineyard is located adjacent to our winery in Dry Creek on a rocky southwest facing slope in arguably the warmest part of the Dry Creek Valley. It is a young vineyard, planted only in 1999 and 2006 is the first vintage we vinified.
