I've had for some time, a small, family-owned winery making limited, individual lots of wine from grapes grown in select blocks of my favorite vineyards. I've always had one foot in Sonoma and the other in Napa. Both areas mean a lot to me emotionally. I'm more attached to Dry Creek because it's where I raised my kids. But the wines that I've made at Beringer are like children, so Napa is also a very special place for me. Either way, the wines are intensely personal, an expression not only of terroir, but of my family's winemaking heritage. -Ed Sbragia   Come visit us at our beautiful location at the end of Dry Creek Road. Our winery is perched on a hillside, overlooking the entire valley with sweeping views from our terrace. Guests are invited to bring a picnic or purchase light deli items from our tasting room and enjoy the sunshine and vineyard views. Seated Terrace Tastings are now available by appointment. Sbragia Family Vineyards prides itself on its single vineyard varietals and small case production. Varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. Most of the wines are made from vineyards owned by the Sbragia family, but do include select vineyards from Sonoma and Napa Valley as well. Our wines have received many accolades and are considered some of California’s best. The only thing better than the view is the wine! Read less

Cedar box, oak, and apple aromas. There's a good freshness from the acidity here with grapefruit flavors and a hint of sweetness. A very tasty wine that would be great with cheese.

Golden hue. Appears oxygen is getting the best of this wine (unsure how well it was kept prior to my purchase). Rather odd aroma of wet grains, like beer wort. A savory cashew, pistachio nuttiness. Guava, dried pineapple and quince paste on the nose as well. Pear tart, toasted brioche, heavy baking spices especially nutmeg on the palate. Very toasty and smoky with a powerful fatty nut quality. It truly is like liquid cashews with only slight suggestions of tree fruit. Big for sipping on its own, but unsure what I'd pair it with except maybe vanilla ice cream. Recommend you drink right away unless cellared all along. 80 pts. 5/23/13

Good yellow-gold color. Slightly high-toned aromas and flavors of tropical fruits, apricot, vanilla and honey; hints of botrytis here. Plump, broad and sweet, with a strong component of spicy, vanillin oak. The lingering finish turns more classicall... Stephen Tanzers IWC. Marked by tangy nectarine and tangerine flavors, with a touch of green apple and pineapple, this is crisp, flinty and intense, with a long, cleansing, leesy finish. Drink now through 2012. 3,283 cases made. -JL Wine Spectator. A Chardonnay wine from California in USA. 2008 Sbragia Family Vineyards Chardonnay Home Ranch 750ml
