External Reviews for Sbragia Family Chardonnay Dry Creek Valley Home Ranch
Wine Advocate ReviewRated 90Sbragias 2006 Chardonnay Dry Creek (from the home vineyard of 13 acres) exhibits notes of buttered citrus, minerals, and a subtle hint of oak. It is an elegant, medium to full-bodied effort with a distinctive earthiness. Enjoy it over the next several years.Wine Tasting NotesThe Chardonnay has wonderful aromas of Bartlett pears, oranges and fresh pineapple with spice notes and a hint of Dry Creek minerality that lingers through the mouth and into the finish. When I drink this wine I am reminded of a citrus zest infused creme brulee.
A Chardonnay wine from California in USA. 2006 Beringer Chardonnay Sbragia Limited Release 750ml
Wine Advocate ReviewRated 92Another offering that is more restrained than it used to be is the 2006 Chardonnay Sbragia Limited Release. It reveals an opulent tropical fruit character, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and hints of hazelnut, brioche, and honeysuckle as well as abundant glycerin and length. Good acidity provides balance and overall zest. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.Wine Tasting NotesGorgeous aromas of citrus and butterscotch greet the nose as rich flavors of lemon, creme brulee and spice fill the mouth and linger throughout a long and saturated finish. Enjoy!

Bold and complex in a distinctive style, with fig and candied apple flavors that are a bit raw but very complex. Needs a year. Drink now through 2010. 2,190 cases made.
