Our 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% varietal and was aged for 24 months in the finest French Oak barrels. Blended from a variety of root stocks and clones selected from throughout our 50 acre estate vineyard, this is a complex wine elegantly displaying what a Rutherford grown Cabernet Sauvignon should be. Black currant, blackberry and bing cherry aromas are present on the nose, with additional black cherry, and a hint of mocha present on the palate. The finish is all Rutherford, with soft, delicate tannins providing a smooth, lingering finish. A graceful and refined wine.

A wonderfully robust Cabernet Sauvignon, with tons of spice mingled through a fruit medly of currants, blackberries andcherry. this is a more delicate cab than most people expect and I find it pairs perfectly with Duck roasted with a cranberry/cinnamon glaze.
Drink now, or hold a few years to allow a little more blending between the delightful fruits and oaked undertones.
